====== Thunderbird Setup ======

If this is your first time opening Thunderbird, the new email account wizard opens automatically. If you already have other accounts setup in Thunderbird, then you need to go to:
Menu (The three lines at the upper right of the program) -- Options --> Account Settings
Then choose "Account Actions" then "Add Mail Account"

Enter your name, your "@thecarnesfamily.com" email address, and your password, then click on "Continue"

Thunderbird should automatically find all of the correct server settings for you and list them here:
  * Incoming: IMAP - mail.jjoelc.com STARTTLS
  * Outgoing: SMTP - mail.jjoelc.com STARTTLS
  * Username: you@thecarnesfamily.com

Press "Done" and Thunderbird will verify your username and password are working. You may get the window above asking you if you trust the server. As long as the "Location" field reads "mail.jjoelc.com" with a number after it you can simply add the checkmark next to "Permanently store this exception" and click the "Confirm Security Exception" button.

That should be it. You are all set to start reading and sending email with your Carnes Family email address!
