==== Ingredients ====

  * 1 cup milk
  * 2 1/2 cups sugar
  * 1/2 cup white syrup
  * 3 cups raw peanuts
  * lump of butter
  * 1 teaspoon vanilla

==== Directions ====

  - cook milk, sugar, syrup and peanuts to hard ball stage.
  - remove from heat add vanilla and butter beat until creamy and add some red coloring if desired. drop on waxed paper in desired size
  - let cool and harden before eating
