Hush Puppies

These are a good clone of Long John Silver’s hush puppy recipe

• 2 large Eggs, beaten
• ½ cup Sugar
• 1 large White onion, diced small
• 1 cup Self-rising flour
• ¾ cup Cornmeal
• 3 Tbsp All-purpose flour
• 1 tbsp Baking Powder
• ½ tsp Salt

1. In medium bowl, mix together eggs, sugar, and onion
2. Blend in flour and cornmeal
3. Drop batter by rounded teaspoonsful into deep fryer set to 365 degrees and cook until golden brown
